Apply to perform at Sakura Taiko Fest 2027!

The Sakura Taiko Fest is BACK in March!

The 13th annual Sakura Taiko Fest will take place at Sylvan Theater in Washington, DC on Saturday, March 27 (rain date: Sunday, March 28). It’s going to be an amazing day of FREE, family-friendly Japanese drumming … and to make it happen, we need awesome community and collegiate groups to perform with us!

Are you part of a taiko group?

Are your group members excited to …

meet other taiko people
work together to build community
put on an awesome show
be part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival

Then YOU should apply to perform at Sakura Taiko Fest 2027!

Before you apply, you’ll want to see what STF is all about! You can check out all the details and see loads of great photos and video from last year’s event … and even explore the event’s history since our very first STF back in 2013.

If you feel like STF is a great fit for your group, we invite you to apply to be one of our performing groups this spring!
