Taiko Open Mic is a celebration of everything CONNECT is all about! It’s not a “concert” exactly … it’s an opportunity to share performances, food, and drink with each other as we bring CONNECT 2025 to a close.
And we have a limited number of tickets available for friends, family, and local taiko aficionados who want to join us for this very special evening!

This event is part of CONNECT 2025 – if you are registered for the conference, there’s no need to buy a ticket for the Open Mic because it’s included in your registration.
(And if you AREN’T registered for CONNECT yet but WANT to be … we still have a few spots left!).
Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door

Taiko Open Mic takes place in the Auditorium of Caldwell Hall, which is about a 10-minute walk from the CUA-Brookland station on the Metro Red Line. There is also limited metered parking available on campus if you’d prefer to drive.
