ABOUT THIS CLASS:
This 8-week class is for taiko players at all levels. It offers the opportunity to work on taiko fundamentals, song learning, and (of course) kumidaiko – the special magic that happens when we drum together as a group.
FOR SPRING 2023: KATSUGI OKEDO!
This 8-week intermediate class will help students explore, develop, and enjoy different kinds of taiko. Mark H uses guided feedback to help you understand the movement and mechanics of a given style. This class moves at a faster pace than the Rec Class and is appropriate for students looking to learn new techniques for the first time or for more established players who want to develop their form and taiko vocabulary.
