one of Mark’s Introductory Taiko workshops or previous taiko experience. If you do not have previous experience, please contact Mark H to discuss whether he can arrange a private or small group lesson.

Register and pay online with House of Musical Traditions!

Register Here or call (301) 270-9090.

If it is fewer than 3 days before the first class, we recommend you call HMT before you register.

Register early — classes can often fill up!
We ask for payment information with your registration — either a credit card number or check — which is processed shortly before the first class. This holds your space and helps us guarantee attendance to the instructor.

Random Acts of Taiko

Instagram post 2187200705110281113_1429089292 I have much to be thankful for in my life but I’m dedicating today’s appreciation and love to this beautiful, spirited warrior of a girl I have the privilege of calling my niece. Always strong, she redefines what it means to “have heart” and reminds me that life is such a precious gift. I love you ❤️
Instagram post 2184568427062372594_1429089292 In Georgia at #TallulahFalls with Kristen on a long overdue getaway. Lots of mist, lots of stairs (didn’t skip leg-day!) and the cutest baby goat named Moo! #randomactsofliving #goatsontheroof🐐 #georgiaonmymind
Instagram post 2167888250320222206_1429089292 Always great to have taiko visitors from other groups come by and give us a sense of perspective! Halloween perspective came to @miyakotaiko practice all the way from Argentina in the form of super-passionate taiko player, @marina_ruuu ! Thanks for coming by and sharing your story and enthusiasm!
Instagram post 2156666480858815148_1429089292 @nendaiko today’s (well, recent) challenge brings to mind the smallest drum I ever made which was for my niece on her 1st birthday. #smallestdrum #randomactsoftaiko #uncletaiko #taikolove
