About Adam Erdossy

Adam grew up in VT and was inspired by seeing his mother’s performances onstage to go on to earn his BA in theater studies from Wheaton College, MA and The Eugene O’Neill National Theater Institute in CT. At NTI he studied a wide spectrum of theater and movement, and spent two weeks studying at the Moscow Art Theater. After working in NYC acting in off-off broadway shows, doing lighting and electrics, stage managing, tech directing, working in coffee shops and studying kung fu and t’ai chi, he joined Blue Man Group in 2006. Since then, he has performed all across the USA and completed two world tours as cast captain including stops in Saudi Arabia, Israel, Europe, Turkey, Taiwan and Japan, where he lived for 4 years, becoming fluent in the language and studying as well as collaborating with artists such as the taiko drumming group, Kodo. Currently based outside of Boston, Adam is an actor on stage and screen, photographer and tutor. His physical expression workshop entitled Primal Acting has been taught in Japan and in the Boston area.

CURRENT MARK H TAIKO PROTOCOLS
Here are the protocols we are following for the safety and comfort of our students and instructors:
- ALL participants will be REQUIRED to wear masks in the building, EVEN WHEN PLAYING.
- We will be limiting capacity to allow us to observe some social distancing.
- Instructors are fully vaccinated.
- We will take regular breaks during which participants will be invited to step away from others in order to take a water break or a “breathing break.” Everyone will be responsible for bringing their own water.
