Can we just say … wow!
It’s been an amazing fall here at Mark H Taiko … in fact, we’ve been so busy with awesome stuff that we haven’t had a chance to post about it!
We had three outstanding groups of students in our Rec Class, Odaiko Styles Class, and Set Playing Skills Class and we had two great Intro Workshops (it’s always so fun to see new folx trying taiko for the first time)!
AND we celebrated Miyako Taiko‘s 10th Anniversary at a very special Fall Recital in November! It was so fun having so many of our Miyako alumni join us for the performance (and we even saw a couple of y’all on the livestream!) Thanks to everyone who helped to make it such a memorable event!
To learn a bit about our Miyako Taiko members as part of their 10th anniversary celebration, check out their shiny new Member Profiles!
If you missed the performance, never fear! You can still watch it here …
Ready to join in the Mark H Taiko fun?
Our next Introductory Taiko Workshop is coming up on Sunday, January 26! If you’ve been wanting to try taiko for the first time, register SOON! These workshops always sell out! And if you’ve already been bitten by the taiko bug and you know someone who’d like to try taiko … well, hey, giving the gift of taiko is always appreciated … and you don’t even have to wrap it! 🙂
Winter classes coming soon!
Registration for our Winter 2025 classes will be open soon! We’re just finishing up all the final details (making our list and checking it twice, if you will)! If you’re one of our current students, look for an email from Mark H with all the details in the next few days … and if you’re not one of our students yet, then check out that previous paragraph that tells you how to register for the next Intro Workshop!
Happy holidays from all of us at Mark H Taiko!
