You are invited to a special celebration of Martin Luther King Day!
On Monday, January 19, Mark H and Kristen Koyama are teaming up with members of Opera UnMet and Roxbury Repertory Theater for “The Ties that Bind,” a musical celebration of Martin Luther King Day. This year’s performance features excerpts from Sam Cornish’s poetry collection, An Apron Full of Beans, which incorporates and responds to Africa-American voices in history, music, literature, and pop culture.
If you’re in the Boston area, we hope you can join us for this memorable evening. The performance will take place at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church in Lexington and begins at 5pm on Monday, January 19. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
